2023 SUMMER LEAGUE

Creekside Location
June 5th-July 26th

 

THIS INFORMATION IS FOR THE CREEKSIDE LOCATION. PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BELOW PRIOR TO REGISTERING.

Summer league at the Creekside location is open to all players entering 3rd-8th grades. No tryout is required to participate. Unlike most leagues, we provide paid coaches who have experience in coaching volleyball and/or playing competitively. Revolution also provides practice plans that are written specifically for the level of the court. Only beginner and intermediate levels are offered at Creekside. If you are looking for club prep or club level, please register at our Magnolia location.

 

Practices are offered once or twice a week. Players that attend twice a week will scrimmage on the second night. Players that attend once a week will scrimmage for the last three weeks. Prices include paid coaches and a summer league shirt.

Mondays and Wednesdays - 5th-8th Graders

June 5th-July 26th

5:15-6:45 pm

8 weeks - includes training once a week and scrimmages once a week

Cost is $575

LEVEL DESCRIPTIONS:

Beginner Level 1 is for players who have no experience or have little experience through camps or parent/volunteer coached leagues such as the Y or I9. Level 1 is offered for players entering 2nd-8th grade.

Beginner Level 2 is for players who have completed one session of the league at Revolution and/or at least one of our 4-day beginner camps. Players should have some knowledge of the game and have been taught basic skills by experienced coaches. Level 2 is offered for players entering 2nd-8th grade.

Intermediate level is for players that have some experience through our league or school in addition to camps or lessons. Players will need to have completed at least 2 of the league at Revolution before being considered intermediate. Players should be able to perform all basic skills such as passing, setting, hitting, and serving. The intermediate level is offered for players entering the 3rd-10th grade.

Club Prep level is for players that have at least 9 months of playing experience including our leagues, school, camps, and lessons. This group is for players who will be trying out for a club team in the summer of 2023 or have at least two years of school/league experience. Club prep is offered for players entering 5th-10th grade and only at the Magnolia location.

Club level is for players who played on a club team during the '22-'23 club season and are entering 5th-10th grade and only at the Magnolia location.

What to bring to practice?

Players will need to bring their own water or sports drink in a closed bottle.

Volleyball kneepads can be purchased at any sporting goods store.

Tennis shoes or volleyball shoes.

Players can wear any athletic clothing such as t-shirts and shorts.

Volleyballs are provided.

Parents can bring chairs and stay for practice.

Registration and Payment Information

All registrations are done online using your LeagueApps account. If you do not already have an account you will need to set one up before registering. Once you have an account, all registrations, payments, and invoices can be found in your account. If you cannot get logged in, please do not set up another account. Payment Policy:
Payment is due with registration. There is a 3.5% transaction fee already included in the price and no additional fee is added at check-out for online payments. 
 
There are no discounts or scholarships for the league. Prices may be pro-rated after the second week.
 

Refund Policy:

Refunds are only given if requested prior to the payment deadline of June 1st. All refunds will have a $50 administrative fee deducted. If an injury or illness occurs that prevents participation in the league, a doctor's note must be provided with details of the injury, and the date play can resume. A credit for a future program will be given if approved. There are no credits after the halfway point of the season. The request must be made within 72 hours of the injury or illness. The amount of credit is determined by Revolution Volleyball. There are no refunds given for moving away. Trial classes are not offered due to our league filling up most sessions.

Missed Practices:
There are no make-up practices. Players can still participate even if they will miss practices but will not be able to attend a different day or time.
